I was asked this question today….

“If you planted your heart, today…

                                      …What would grow?”

“Happiness & Love!” I shouted!

Just 2 short years ago … 2014, my answer would have been much different. Worried and anxious. Tired and weary. Wondering how I could possibly go on – let alone succeed. The weight of the world rested heavily on my shoulders.

I chose to Change-I came across the quote of insanity by Albert Einstein,

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

I can hear the skeptics…That’s it? That’s all you had to do…decide to change and voila, poof, abracadabra  you’re different? Well, not so… not so!

I learned about the Master Key System from a video like this…

” ] I didn’t have any money to buy the system, but then I heard Mark say, “You can’t buy this. We award scholarships and the process starts in Sept”  September! I thought but it’s June!

I want this NOW!

I got on image-26-2.24.11the waiting list.

(Click the picture for the waiting list!)

th

I even tried to get on the list again…just to be sure, but I got a message that said, “You’ve already applied for this list” So I waited and waited. I told some other people about it; they got on the list, too.

September seemed a long way off.

When the application process started, I was so excited that I told some more people about it. They applied, too! And then………much to my delight……….. I got accepted!

When the program started, Oh Wow! I met Debbie face to face. No more excuses, No more victim, No more just existing in life! It was work! I learned so many skills and so much Truth. I had so many ‘AhHa’s!’ I applied what I learned. I found that I thought differently. I expressed myself better. I was a better observer. I gave up some old bad habits for New Found Habits. These habits brought happiness and joy!

When you follow through with commitments you have made to others and to yourself, there is a confidence that emerges. This empowers you to try again and even if you fail. You get up, brush yourself off and start again! When you start again and again you develop a trust in yourself. I just kept on Failing My Way to Success!

I promised to Share with you 1 of my New Found Habits.

Accomplish it and Celebrate! Every week add a task. It’s been 2 years…I’m still doing it!

I trust that I will do what I say! This makes me Happy!

How to Become a Better Thinker NOW

While reading a book with my husband, Sexual Wholeness in Marriage, by Dean M Busby, Jason S Carroll, & Chelom Leavitt … I came across a concept…Become…it gave me pause to really think.

pablo-7

As I read these quotes, my first thought was that my husband doesn’t really help me become…

It was immediately followed with the words, “What do you do to help him become?pablo-6

I was excited…the thought of what I could do had followed immediately behind my “old victim mode” of thinking!  YEA! I was changing…I was Becoming!

Belonging

“Longing to Belong is shared by all people”, (Dean M Busby, Jason S Carroll, & Chelom Leavitt, Sexual Wholeness in Marriage, pg. 58).

I get Belonging … After all the Bible it says, “It is Not good for man to be alone.”
Being part of a family is belonging. The Need to belong drives us everyday, to be accepted, to be appreciated, and to have someone want us around–really like us around. Just look at so many Social Media posts. They share family pictures, family trials, hardships, family successes, family gatherings…We All share and want opportunities to belong.

Becoming

“We each feel a need to develop to our fullest potential, to become what our unique combination of attributes and talents intended us to become.” (Dean M Busby, Jason S Carroll, & Chelom Leavitt, Sexual Wholeness in Marriage, pg. 59).

I wasn’t at all sure I got Belonging.  I’ve been discovering Great Headlines are important for all Bloggers. I found that when the word Become was added to any sentence…It soared off the charts in it’s ranking…Not just “How to find peace in any situation”; but so much better by adding “How to become peaceful in any situation”.

We are human beings that desire relations. We long for permanent, lasting relationships, but we are also independent individuals that desire to reach our full potential. Can you Remember when you’ve had a success…what did you do? You Share it! Bursting at the seams until you can tell someone!

So here in Utah, the weather has warmed and the rains have stopped enough that about 1 month ago we broke-out-the-tandem-bike. Riding is always license to think! And this morning? My thoughts were On Becoming…image-14

I have BECOME stronger! Every time I ride, I feel the burn in my thighs as I climb the hills. This morning the burn still came, but it was much later in the climb than the first time I rode! I am becoming stronger! However, when the burn persists, the doubting thoughts enter in…and this one wormed it’s way into my mind, “This is too hard…Just quit!”

Immediately it was followed by, “You can choose right now how you feel!” From then on the toughness of the climb was replaced with a “Hi!” expressed outloud, again and again as we passed bikers and runners. Each smile received, each kind word exchanged fueled me with happiness and purpose! I was happy! I had chosen to become a better me and with that choice I found joy and satisfaction.

Tandem biking is a practice of becoming. My husband a climber, loves LOW gear and grind it out. Me? I love consistent pace. I find a song with a wonderful beat, I’m instantly on the beat effortlessly and I want to stay on that beat! To ride successfully together I chose to help him become more beat-worthy (I found a splicer and we listen to the same music, with the same beat!) and I choose to practice going an overall slower pace sometimes. The results…SUCCESS!

Loving ourselves and others for who we can be entails recognizing when we are not acting our best and still being committed to helping in the reach for highest potential. This creates success in any relation.

4 Ways I Became Able to Choose?

First, Learning How to Become a person with Positive Mental thoughts … You CAN LEARN, too.
Second, Practice!
Third, Practice some more! This is the hardest thing for me…I’m basically lazy and lots of things came naturally to me…so why practice was a thought I’ve had often.
Fourth, Small Successes…so I rally want to practice more!

Simple, but not so easy!

Survive? How to be blissful in today’s world

Survive! I must Survive!

You don't have to keep the pace to Survive

Survive!

Lights, Camera, Action Can I keep this pace in which we live? Hardly a breath, no time for thoughts, must keep going, doing, and in constant motion?

The inner mind a constant jabber?

Watch Closely...do more than surviveOur creator, God created us just this way… To capture all that is going on around.

The colors, the patterns, the smell, the movement, the light, the shadow..

are captured in the blink of an eye. Saved for use, whenever needed.

How then do we learn to pause, to ponder, to observe, and to use this gift?

I took

  • pushing,
  • forcing,
  • doing,
  • moving,
  • perfecting
  • driving for results… and traded it for …

Survive! Live! Dance!

    • beauty,
    • reflection,
    • a laugh,
    • a smile, and
    • an unfoldment of life … at it’s perfect pace.

3 Ways I Found

Silence, quietly pondering, sitting – DAILY –

Survive! In Silencesometimes a battle, but ever vigilant.

Treasured time.

Time for reflection,

renewal, inspiration and especially personal revelation. I love the pause, the break, the breath, the visualization, the courage, the balance, the beauty that leaves a wake of hope, of peace and love.

Observing, directing my thoughts, my focus, analyzing and trusting.

Survive! Step back and Observe

Reborn by asking?  Finding answers… Revitalized with understanding.  Stepping back so eyes can see clearly, not perfectly, but clearly.

Exercising agency; gaining personal power.

Learning, opening … ever the student, ever the disciple.

My mind surviving in it’s honored place atop the gift of a body.

Fear recognized and cherished then vanishes.  Habits observed,  those that serve are welcomed and those that don’t are not and with effort changed.

Responsibility accepted for everyday happenings. Survive! Be defenseless

And sometimes…tears. Defenseless in all situations, I apology often. On my knees in praise and joy for life just the way it is. Successes celebrated! Smiles abound!

This is more than Survival..This is Truly Living…Full, Vibrant, Vulnerable

The Life I live everyday! Bright! Peaceful! Full! Scary! Wonderful!

You can, too!  Join Me…

Happy bubbles up from deep inside me. JOY! Love!

Happy is what would grow from my planted heart! May I explain…?

2014, just 2 short years ago…my answer would have been much different. Worried and anxious. Tired and weary. Wondering how I could possibly go on let alone succeed. The weight of the world rested heavily on my shoulders.

A year, well actually, 6 months later I felt different…Heck, I was different!

images-300Honestly…Change…That makes all the difference! I had changed! Now, I’ve had plenty of people look at me with…well like this

No Longer did I give my control to someone else’s negative, pessimistic comments! I felt Empowered…Self-Empowered!  Let me wet your appetite just a bit.

I took charge, did the work and changed!

I can just hear the skeptics…That’s it? That’s all you had to do…decide to change and voila, poof, abracadabra  you’re different? Well, not so… not so!

How could something so loud and blindingly bright
Fill my soul with this incredibly, amazing delight??

IMG_0323Flowers vivid, bright, wild and bold
Sewn into a quilt that is now quite old.
Once not so loved because of the print
So garish and loud to look you must – squint!

It inspired the creativity of my kiddies around
As forts and castles emerge from anything found
It protected many imaginary soldiers from harm
Enveloped them, so they could snuggle and warm

Washed and dried and folded today
Flooded with memories from just yesterday
A treasure for me to wrap, drag and play
My grandchildren now left, who’d come to stay.

Violet Larsson Olpin

Right before Grandma lost her sight

Fabric picked just for me by my Grandma GG
With eyes which were quite Unable to See
Mom and her sisters stitched it with such care
Through so many washings it shows little wear

Gratitude and Love for a Grandma so dear
Who often would whisper so soft in my ear…
While visiting, she’d pat the couch, come and sit
“Life is so Beautiful, You Just Keep Working at It”!

A change of thought has come over me
Recognition of sorts – Things I just wouldn’t see
How could something so loud and blindingly bright
Fill my soul with this incredibly, amazing delight?

Well? I just didn’t know that my negative view
Made such a difference in just how I construe
Thought is the creative activity behind any endeavor
I like this New me – Positive Now and Forever!

Completion!

We’re at completion Again…So many of you have asked me what is it that you do in the Master Keys? What’s it all about?

It’s Change – – well … let me be more precise.

It’s about using these …

  • 7 Laws of the Mind – Forgiveness, Suggestion, Practice, Relaxation, Dual Thought, Subconscious, Growth.
  • Law of Least Effort – I use Acceptance in recognizing that situations are, I take Responsibility for my actions, I practice Defenselessness
  • Master Key System – How to train your mind…literally to create your world
  • Emerson’s Law of Compensation – Give More to Get More
  • Franklin Makeover – Click for a Free Link  “…a bold project to arrive at moral perfection”
  • Emmet Fox’s 7 Day Mental Diet – Learning to remove Negative thoughts within 7 seconds!

… to create this – I know have and, more importantly, implement the tools to live my ideal life in this world, Now!images-56

Take a look back at the list above. These sources have been around for a Century or more…I had never heard of them! Never!

It’s ultimately a course that puts you on a path to discovery, and then you work hard and learn to Always Keep YOUR Promises and find successes all along the way!

The Journey…It’s how you view what’s placed on your path. We all have paths! We put stuff on it. Sometimes others add stuff. What do you do with it? Where do hard things take you? Learn to find JOY! In All things.pablo

And Remember!  Commencement means you are just beginning!
